On a September Friday afternoon, September 26th, 2025, from 2:00–4:30 PM, Häme University of Applied Sciences gathers its strength and takes over the Rantareitti with a community sports and wellness event!

We invite our students, staff, and alumni to join us in running or walking along Hämeenlinna’s most beautiful trail. Rantareitti is about 6.5 km long. The day promises good company, light exercise, and, for the competitive ones, a traditional running race.

The start and finish are located in Hämeenlinna City Park. At the event area you will find music, a host, a photo spot, refreshments, games, and a special “Kids Run” open throughout the entire event. Along the route there will be a water station and a photo point.

So, dig out your running shoes, bring along a whole team if you like, and get ready for the most fun autumn event together with fellow HAMK members!

On the event day, the race office opens at 1:00 PM. We’ll start with a joint warm-up at 2:00 PM. The finish line will close at 4:30 PM.

Timing for the first finishers. Prize ceremony immediately after the race.

Fun Run/Walk Series (start at 2:30 PM)
Everyone who completes the route will be rewarded. Finish by 4:30 PM.

Team Series (start at 2:30 PM)
Everyone who completes the route and the most creatively dressed team will be rewarded. Finish by 4:30 PM.
Note: One person registers the entire team.
